Need A Little Help Understanding Time Limit For A Response From Wci. Company. When My Attorney Helped Me File W/c Claim, The Letter I Received Stated That My Employer, I/c, Or Rep.for Company Would Have 30 Days To Respond To Claim. 2 Months Have Passed With No Response Or Acknowledgement. Attorney Contacted Work Comp Board, Week Later I Received A Letter For Pre-trial Hearing.
Question Is, If The W/c Board Says " Unless The Answer To Claim For Compensation Is Filed Within 30 Days From Date The Division Acknowledges Receipt Of The Claim Or Any Extension Previously Granted, The Statements Of Fact In The Claim For Compensation Shall Be Deemed Admitted For Any Further Proceedings" Does This Mean, That Since My Work Did Not Respond With An Answer, That They ( My Work) Has Not Denied Or Acknowledged My Injury?
Any Help Understanding This W/c Mess Would Be Appreciated!!
