I Had Back Surgery To Remove My L3 An L4 Disc , . What Is The Normal Rating For This Type Of Surgery?an Does This Type Of Surgery Falls Under Permanent Disability. I Hurt All Day Long Everyday Since My Surgery.

I have a question my husband has elected not to have 3 disc replaced and has continued with his physical therpy, Im sure the company is going to want to settle soon. Since he has elected not to have surgery will this make a different in how they want to settle? I know we will not sign off on the medical, but how will this work as far as the impairment percentage....

should i try to go back to work a month after having level2 back surgery? after surgery im still in as much pain before i had my surgery

I had back surgery 1 level fusion last october and i'm still not back at work. I'm having issues with nerve pain again. I don't see how in the world you could go back in just a month.

If your still having issues you just need to be honest with your doctor. If you can't you just can't. That's the one thing of many that I hate about workers comp. They want to patch you up and send you right back to work and if your not ready you end up with other issues. I would love to go back to work but you can't do it doped to the gills.

Once your ATP, Authorized Treating Physician, has deemed you at MMI, Maximum Medical Improvement, s/he will send you for a FCE, Functional Capacity Examination or RFCE, Residual Functional Capacity Examination, which will determine your disability rating.
