My workerworkers compensation claim was made in the State of: colorado
On Wed, Nov 26, 2008 at 9:36 AM,
in 1985 i fell 3 stories framing a house. just about killed me. i had workers comp -- went to court . won full medical dental & benefits for life. i went thru alot of rehab and had my mouth redone . my mind was not all the way working during these times. anyway -- i was sent to california to see specialists and get my teeth fixed { they were all bashed } i fell in a stairwell from the roof to the basement and hit everything in the way down -- i was flow {flight for life} to st anthonys north. well at some point i came back to denver and was told all benenifits were cancelled. was told my attourney didnt stay up with something and that was that --- I FOUND OUT MY ATTOURNY DIED IN A PLANE CRASH AND MY LIFE HAS BEEN BEATEN DOWN SINCE??????? I WAS GIVEN MEDICAL // DENTAL // AND ALL BENEFITS FOR LIFE NOT THE ATTOURNY THAT DIED. COURT SAYS ALL RECORDS BURNED -- WORKERS COMP SOLD OUT TO ANOTHER COMPANY SAYS ALL RECORDS BURNED-- I DO HAVE RECORDS MYSELF SHOWING START AND STOP OF BENEFITS. NOW MY MIND IS ALOT BETTER - YET I CAN HARDLY EAT AND MY BACK GOES OUT AND MY ANKLES SWELL SO I CANNOT WALK -- THIS IS A LIST OF INJURIES I HAVE FROM THE FALL - SMASHED MY HEAD TOOK MY MEMORY FOR YEARS//BROKE ALL MY TEETH OUT//BROKE MY LOWER BACK 5/6//BROKE ALL MY RIBS ON MY LEFT SIDE//BROKE COLLARBONE//DISLOCATED BOTH SHOULDERS//CRUSHED BOTH ANKLES//SHORT TERM MEMORY GONE { IN THE BEGINNING I RELEARNED ABC,S} I HAVE A LOT OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE THE BEGINNING AND WILL TALK FOR ME . PLEASE IS THERE SOMEONE NOW THAT I MAY TALK TO THAT CAN HELP??? THANKYOU JOHN MACMURRAY

That injury is 23 years ago...what treatment have you been accessing since the orginial injury...?

That your atty dies has no bearing on your entitlement to benefits.
That the IC was sold out, and absorbed by another IC has no bearing on your entitlement to benefits.

There ARE records of your claim on the initial DOI and the details surrounding the claim and treatment you have received since.

If you have been receiving treatment, who has been paying the bills..
As you have a medical/pension award, who has been providing those benefits/checks...?

What you have is obvious complicated...it appears you are in need of much more help here than what you can expect from a message board..

/// it is now wed 14 2011 /// i am waiting on ssi // they did give me a check from 1988 / for 7800.00 and wanted me to reaply for disability so they wouldnt have to pay anything else / i said no and i am waiting for response . workers comp says case never closed yet they are making me fight to get them to do anything // pinnacol // i hope this is not how it goes for everyone /// thankyou john

The "medical for life" is actually access to medical care... only the accepted body parts are covered, the judge cannot add to that.

As such, the carrier has the right to control the medical cost in your claim, and they do that my UR/Utilization Review process of any treatment your Dr recommeds. If the UR finds there is no medical necessity, on a industrial basis, they will deny. When that happens, you go to IME, and/or court to enforce the future medical award.

WORKERS COMP SOLD OUT TO ANOTHER COMPANY SAYS ALL RECORDS BURNED-

Medical records are easily recovered, through your Dr's and/or the comp court. Besides what you can provide from your file.
It wasnt' "work comp" that sold...it was the insurance carrier handling your claim... doesn't matter, you are still covered until you cash out.

it is now 2/7/12 //
i got all records from 1984 from a archive at ssi , took 28 years to get here. records show all i stated . six different doctors said i would never be able to work or take care of myself without help forever . i am now 50 and my time is done // and i never was able to get a job because of my disabilities .. i am a liability. i have responded to a lawyer ad again , i pray something will go right /// oh, i do get help from the state / quest card // and they base all , on my disabilities from 1984 .it is thier doctors i see .
