I was wondering if anyone knows the case law on the cap for PT/chiro treatments when multiple claims/body parts have been claimed? I was under the impression that it was 24...however I was reading posts from another forum, in which some argued that it is 24 visits per claim. So if you injured your arm you would get 24, and then if you injured your upper back, with another claim added to the original, that would be another 24 visits.
Also, in the nolo book it states 24 visits for chiro, and an additional 24 for PT (so they are not grouped together) if authorized under ACOEM guidlines. It also says for continuous trama injury, and a specific injury you are entitled to 24 visits for each date of injury....is this also for each body part?
