They don't want to be on the record during the exam. You would be able to come back on them for the type of IME they did.

Whenever you go to IME take someone with you and Mad bomber is right have them take notes, It's like turning the tables on them. They don't like it, it gets them upset,
poor babies. You can take a recorder but you have to let them know thier being recorded. Honestly, the person and notes normally does the trick. Good luck and have fun.
