    Question Claim Disposition Agreement

Can anyone tell me what a claim disposition agreement is in layman terms. I have read the book but do not understand it.

    Default Re: Claim Disposition Agreement

It's a partial lumpsum buyout of your claim and resolution of any compensation benefit issues.
It's an agreement to settle indemnity benefits only (temporary and permanent disability, vocational rehabilitation, survivor benefits, penalties).
you still are entitled to preferred worker status and medical benefits.
you sign if the payment amount is acceptable.
you can also discuss the details with the Ombudsman 1-800-927-1271
    what part didn't you understand?
