    Not really enough information here.

Judges issue Findings w/Awards and Order. Generally that is based on your impairment once you have reached MMI/Max Medical Improvement. States vary in this, and how/what benefits may be due.

Judges don't give ''settlements''. Or cash lump sum payments to close out a claim. If the carrier has made you an offer to settle the claim, and you did not accept, it doesn't really mean anything at this point.

If you have an attorney, thats the best source of information on your claim and situation.

Assuming a case is fully litigated in PA with briefs actually submitted, most judges will issue a decision within 3-6 months. Some are faster, some are slower. There is no statutory time frame. The statute requires an opinion within a reasonable period which is not defined.

Settlement negotiations are not binding on a judge, and he may issue his decision while negotiations are ongoing. If you are close to a settlement figure, it is not a bad idea for the lawyer to write the judge and so advise so that you do not receive a decision that affectively shuts down negotiations.

The only way I can see that happening is if there is an agreement.
