If you could turn up the heat on these IC's and ER's, how would you go about it ?

roll workers comp into the new health care reforms coming up.
no distinction between work and non-work health care; if you need it you are covered.

Treat the injured worker promptly, allowing all the necessary treatments the IW doctor needs for a quick resolution if possible of the injury. While this is proceeding then start the case file to determine whether or not the injury was work related if not, then cease the medical treatments, cash benefits and file felony criminal fraud charges against this person and undo the medical work performed, if it was a broken arm that was repaired then re break the arm and send the person to jail.
Speed up the case to satisfy a permanency so that the case can be close but, If anyone was found to be in violation of their restrictions within this time frame then cease all future medical treatment and cash benefits pending an expedited hearing for establishing a permanency.
Once the case is closed its closed no spying to catch the former injured worker in violation of restrictions but if the injured worker becomes fit to return to the job s/he was injured at and the company want to re hire the IW then the IW will be rehired at the last worked employment scale, not low person on the totem pole.

Write to your Congressman/woman for support of HR635 in hopes of nationalizing work comp (with individual state oversight) so that IW's would have the same treatment no matter what state they lived in.
Believe it or not there are Congressman/woman who know who we are and supports us and check out the following article by Congresswoman Lynn Wolsey (Ca). Link below.
