    Default Business is Now Closed

I was injured at a restaurant back in april from a very serious burn. it looked like the case was about to get settled but i just found out the restaurant closed this week. will this affect the settlement with the insurance company?

No, and Maybe. If the employer was self-insured, there could be an issue, unless Illinois has a workers comp uninsured employer's trust fund.

If the employer was covered by a WC insurance policy, it will have not effect whatsoever on your existing claim.
