Do You Have to Use Sick Time for Job Injury Doctor's Appointments

I am working fulltime and have a workmans comp injury.
My boss is telling me I HAVE to use my sick time for my doctors appointments and pys. thrpy., is that how it works?
The appointments are during work hours...PLEASE HELP...I have an appt tomorrow.

The only state (I have seen yet) that requires the ER to pay time for seeing a WC Dr is Connecticut. So, yes, you can use your vacation/PTO to see the Dr. Or, make the appts before/after/lunch your regular shift.
You won't be paid benefits/TD by the IC because you are not "disabled".

I was under the impression since it was a work related injury that no time would be taken from me (vaca, sick..etc..) and was to be scheduled during work hours, let's say I work 8-5 and take lunch at 12, the appt is at 1 and took me 1 1/2 hours, I would schedule my time normally, in at 8 - lunch at 12-1- out at 5. This is not correct??

You are to be paid mileage to/from any Dr appts, or PT, RX etc..anything medically necessary to the injury.

I guess your impression was mistaken... or you were informed in error....
As I said... the ER is not required to pay wages for time you are seen by your Dr. If you make your appt during your lunch, you'd only use a half hour of your PTO.
