Default MMI and Release from Worker's Comp

I have been released from workman's comp. and released from my Dr. stating I am M.M.I. Now I am considering different employment. My W.C. case manager will not return my phone call's. I need a letter stating what my disability percentage is before I can fill out an application. ( The Dr. said he would be filing that the next day after he had released me and that was December 6th 2012).
I know my work has a Lawyer. Do I need to get legal counsel?

You don't need to know your PD rating % to apply for another job... you need to know your permanent restrictions if any, and your Dr provides that.
PPD ratings determine the number of weeks indemnity you are due.

Yes...you should consult with an attorney before you make any decisions regarding resolution of your claim.

I think you meant Dec/2011 (?), or you're waaaay ahead of the rest of us...

Thank you!! Yes I meant 2011. Okay so do I need to contact my Dr. for the permanent restrictions?
Or wait for my Case manager to do this?

You need to get the final report from your Dr...no reason to wait, the sooner you can return to work, the less in wage loss you will see.
Call your Dr on Monday... pick up the report, and look for a job.
Also, find out from your ER, first, whether or not they have a job within your restrictions... you may be able to go back to work, it's easier to find a new job when you have a job.
If your ER cannot bring you back, you may be eligible for VR services, or even UI while you seek employment.

Consult with an attorney before you go making decisions.
