Default Workers Comp for Bilateral Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

My workers compensation claim was made in the State of: illinois, hello all i currently have a claim for carpal tunnal in both hands. last week my supervisor had me picking up 100 lb machine parts and i hurt my back. made an injury report then went to doctor. he told me if my back still hurts he will give me further tests. well 3 days later back is still very painful. i had surgery on my back about 7 yrs ago. if this is serious can i file another work. comp. claim?

    Default Re: Work. Comp. Claim

you file for all claims whether you think they will be eventually be serious or not. if you wait, it's more difficult to prove it was from an priorr work incident rather then something else more recent.
