What Is The Settlement Payment Process If You Fire Your WC/AA? Does the WC/AA get paid initially? Is there a time-frame how long the IC has to make restitution to the IW? How can an IW, representing oneself, make sure that they don't get saddled with hidden charges, medical, legal, & or otherwise?

work comp has it's own court system.
the judge usually has to rule on the payment of costs and the settlement amounts.
