A Whole Lot of Me

I know that I haven't been on here in a while..:
Have you ever been in a hole emotionally?I am now....I have had 3 cervical fusions and have now been given a chance to take part in the stimulator program....My lawyer divorced me last week due to IC not wanting to settle...Don't know which way to turn..Oh the pain and torment from my neck has led me to the conculsion that all hope is gone...Now nothing to do with me but sit and and ponder saying good bye to an old friend of mine...me....:

With your stating GOD BLESS YOU ALL tells me that you have a spiritual side with that being said I know your facing a very difficult time now and with the Lords guidance you will overcome.
Listen, do me a favor, reach out and talk to someone but most of all reach out to another attorney who WILL help you. Another lawyer will receive all the benefits that the one who divorced you would of so it shouldn't be difficult, and maybe that is what the Lord is guiding you to do. Pain SUCKS, IT STINKS, I know I live it 24-7 365days a year but you have to try and beat it, one day at a time. do what I asked and stay in touch with we members of this forum, were understanding and here to help!

Q-man gave you some good advice. I agree...try to find a new attorney. I would contact your state bar assocuiation for referrals, or even ask on this forum for your state.

I think what your attorney did is wrong, but whenever a door closes another opens.

Spinal stims have helped many on this forum. Hopefully that will help your pain.

Things may seem bad now, but this situation you are in is just temporary. This will not be forever, as things always change.

What part of the state do you live in? Maybe I can refer you to a quality attorney (professionally and personally). Spinal stims do help so I would look at that as an opportunity to turn your situation around!

I would like to give you all a very big Heart felt Thank You..Just having people here that can relate to the pain that I have in my body and heart.Sometimes life is very difficult and no matter what..the good Lord above will not put on me the things I can't handle..The replys that I have gotten I THANK YOU again..
Q-man...I have contacted another Att. (he fell out the sky)and he is Very willing to take my case. My heart goes out to you and yours for your pain and I can truely understand what it is like..God Bless You my Brother.

ISLaw...My injury happened in NW Florida in 2001 But I now live in Ky.The Att. that I spoke to is in the area of my injury.But I still Thank You for your willingness to help.

tim,
i have had 5 cevicle fusions and refusions. injured in cal in 1994 .
my AA said last month she wanted to retire, was going to file a lien, and give my case to some one else.
i said fine.
i do have a friend
that talk to everyday that i found on my journey since the accident at work.
his name is jesus, tim.
i have been mad ,drunk, on drugs through the years. i gave all that up, with help, and offered all my problems to god. quit using booze, pills, and asked jesus to help me get throught this lifelong ordeal.
and you know what, it does work tim, the problems are still there, some of the pain is still here, but, i have a whole new outlook and peace with what is going on
.it worked for me.

all i can do is understand and offer you the knowledge that others are in this situation too, I wake up every day and look at my daughter and cry because i think "if i feel this way now how will i feel in ten years" she is only 2, im only 23.

prayer and faith is all that has helped, and this board.

Keep in mind the system is broken not you, it is a shame we live in this age however all things happen for some reason.
