Welcome to those struggling to cope with the effects of chronic illnesses and to those whose experiences with the workers' compensation system have left them feeling overwhelmed, isolated, depressed, angry, guilty, grieving losses, fearful of an uncertain future, or feeling that life is not worth living. Do not despair my friend, for you are not alone. Others are traveling that same perilous road, and though their circumstances may be different, they understand what you are going through. They are out there waiting to listen to your story and to share theirs with you in the hope that perhaps you may be able to learn from and comfort one another.

Some have been blessed to have survived their journey through the valley of chronic illness. Some have even won their battles with the "demon" that is the workers' compensation system. And whether or not they are willing to acknowledge it, God has played a major role in their victories. When they needed it most, God was there to love, comfort, watch over, guide, and protect each and every one of them.

And God will be there for you. Even when life beat up on you so badly
that you couldn't seem to love yourself let alone anyone else, God was there and loved YOU yesterday, loves YOU today, and will love YOU tomorrow and always. No matter who you are, no matter what you have or have not done or what you're going through or how unworthy you may feel, God loves YOU. When you are unwilling or unable to forgive yourself,  God's unconditional love forgives you over and over and over again, amen. Even in the darkest hours of the night when you are alone and your mental and physical pain are at their worst, God is there, patiently waiting to love you and comfort you and heal you.
