As Our Lives Go By

As our lives go by,
we tend to forget
how swiftly time
moves;
especially when we
are young and carefree...

As our lives go by,
we are sometimes
compulsive
and
sometimes cautious;
we need direction
and peace
in our lives...

As our lives go by,
tragic moments appear
out of nowhere
and we are devastated;
wanting only to see
our loved ones;
but we must remember
that with Jesus,
we will be together
again and in His majesty...

As our lives go by,
we cherish each moment
and
come to realize
life is very fragile
and
we must share our love
and compassion and joy
with each other
before the winds
blow us away...
