~ life in the forest ~

in the forest deep
the sounds are songs
of nature

blending sounds of birds
of the wind in the trees
of the howls of creatures unseen
of the birth of living beings
growing

deep within the earth
symphonies of mystical tunes
calling out
beckoning us to join in

within the forest's shadows
there lies a heartbeat of life
a stanza of the secret of life
seduction of the unknown

yet, there is no alienation
only the pull to go further
into the forest's roots
to find the answer

to its' compelling song
of birth
of growth
of death
of resurrection...
