Biography:

I am a Charlotte, NC, workers' compensation specialist lawyer. I have been representing injured workers in North Carolina since 1991. I am fortunate to have received excellent ratings from my peers in the profession, such as the "AV Preeminent" rating every year since 2010 (Top 5% among peer review ratings nationally) from www.Martindale.com, and I have been included in "'NC Superlawyers" and "Best Lawyers in America" for several years in a row based on the recommendations of lawyers who are familiar with my work. In 2015, I was inducted as a "Fellow" into the national College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers. For 2017, Best Lawyers in America organization named me "Lawyer of the Year" in Charlotte for the workers' comp claimants practice. In 2021, I was accepted an invitation to join the "Specialization Committee" here in NC that grades the exams of applicants for Board Certification as a specialist in workers' compensation law.
