    Default Changing Doctors

My surgeon, who is my treating physician for this injury to my knee, sent me a form relating to changing doctors. They said it was because they forgot to have me sign it when I went to the surgeon from the other doctor I started out with.

Does it sound like they are trying to get rid of me?

Can I change from this doctor to my own doctor at my HMO?

Each state has their own regulations on medical control. You should contact your state's work comp help line and find out the laws for your claim.
