Default Is heel spur surgery covered by workers compensation

I have been working at a company where I stand on bare concrete for 8 hours a day for the lst 3 years. 9 weeks ago I had surgery for a heel spur which has developed over the last 1 1/2 years. I did this through my company health insurance but was recently told that it should be covered under Workers Comp by the nurse from my short-term disability coverage. What worries me is that I do not seem to be healing as I should, the incision is healed but I still cannot stand for 30 minutes without being in pain. I go back to the doctor this week, what would you suggest?

Default Re: heel spur surgery, is it covered?

Discuss it with the doctor. No work comp claim will be accepted unless supported by medical opinion.
