    Default Attorney's Fees

Will the 15% come from the Award only, or the amount of the award and the WCMSA?

The only way you would have a WCMSA will be if you settle your claim by way of C&R. The setaside account will be set up from those funds.
The atty fee will be based on the total amount of the C&R, and usually run between 9 and 12%. 15% fees are granted in "complex" cases, and the atty would have to provide those details to get that kind of fee.

If you'll read Yorks last post here http://www.workcompforums.com/ca/iw/...&threadid=2099
This will give you some more information regarding atty fees.
