Default Recovering from Surgery, and Not Sure Where I Stand

    Hello all
I just found this site and I love it. I am a 44 yr old male and had a disc replacement and neck fusion two months ago, the arm symptoms are 90% better but the neck pain is worse than before the surgery. My surgeon told me before the operation that the surgery should have been done over a year ago and that he was concerned about permanemt damage. I have been out of work since June but the injury was a bulldozer accident in 12/05. I continue to eat pain killers to get through the day. My future seems very up in the air and I am scared as to what it will bring. My employer has been great and so has the insurance company, what do I do now, wait? I do not have an attorney.

If everybody is doing what is supposed to be done then I do not see a reason to involve an attorney directly...It would be wise in my opinion to have one at the very least waiting in the wings...That way at least your best interests will be protected if and when things go against you in order for them to save a few bucks...Just my opinion...Good luck...

Thankyou, I have been following the Dr.'s orders to the letter. I just feel like my future is up in the air right now. Maybe I am being impatient and should give things more time? I have already been told that I can not go back to my previous position. Right now they have me working a few hours a day from home.
