    Default Job Search

    dr gave me my mmi rating and put me on perm restrictions. under those restrictions it would have to be a job that i have no training in. with the job market the way it is how can you do a job search when there are no jobs. i know i am to be looking a job but where at and with no training for those types of jobs that i would have to be looking for.

    you need to document the fact there are no jobs by searching first --you can't assume it.

    Do you have a competent work comp lawyer helping you? If not it is time for you to be looking for one. Forget the rating, forget MMI, do a diligent job search and document the heck out of it. Look for any job that you reasonably think you would be qualified for, and don't worry if it is outside your restrictions. That is sort of the point of the search--you show that any jobs for which you are qualified are not available to you due to your restrictions.

    Start interviewing lawyers. You will need one to get the best deal at this point.
