    Default Doctor Visits

My workers compensation claim was made in the State of NY

I have reach MMI, have PPD and have been approved for SSDI. My question is how often do I have to see my doctor now? Is it still every three months, even with the PPD an MMI? My NS really doesn't do anything but talk about how I'm feeling and give me a script. He said he likes to follow his patients for two years and I'm rapidly coming to that point. Do I still have to go that often? What is the requirement for SSDI?

There is no requirement for SSDI how often you are seen by a physician. Go as needed.
For the WC claim, once you are MMI, there is no requirement that a Dr be seen, go "as needed" based on your Dr recommendation.
To continue receiving teatment under the comp coverage though, it would be in your best interests to see the Dr on a somewhat regular basis... 3 to 6 month rotation..talk to your Dr.
