    Default Settlement in Vermont

How long does it take to receive a settlement that has been agreed upon between the insurance and the injuried person? There are no Attorneys involved. The paper work was signed on the 7th of May. This is in Vermont. Anyone have an answer?

    Default Re: Settlement in Vermont

The documents generally go to a WC judge to review for adequacy, that can take up to 30 days or so, then back to the carrier to cut the check...could be another 30. All depends on the back log in court, and the carriers policy in issuing checks. So...mid July maybe....? you'd also have to add 5 days here and there for mailing.
