    Post Attorney or Not

I won my claim and I am getting ready to be released from my doctor as stationay.
My employer will not take me back on light duty and has sent me a packet to apply for
long-term disability. If I apply for LTD I am giving up any chance I have to returning to my job; filing the application is treated as the resignation.

The question is should I retain a lawyer to make sure I receive all my benefits and money?

of course you can file litigation at any time but what other benefits are you not getting?

    sure, go ahead.
it doesn't cost you anything to talk to one. and if you have nothing more coming then they won't take your case.
otherwise you'll always think you got left out.
