Can I Collect Umemployment After Receiving a Lump Sum Worker's Comp Settlements

I was let go from my job in February because my physical restrictions made me useless to my employer. I am still determined to have a work capacity. I received weekly workers comp benefits up until this point. I am receiving a lump sum payment from workers compensation this week. Can I receive unemployment benefits after receiving the lump sum payment? I have not filed for disablity and could still work if the job wasn't physical etc.

All you can do is apply for the UI, the state makes that determination based on your earning record, your ER etc.
Why didn't you apply when you were released from your job? That would have saved your date of entitlement.

I didn't apply for unemployment because I was receiveing weekly worker's comp. benefits, which ended with the settlement.
