    Default Suffering After a Head Injury

    hello all i had a head injury aug 2011 and was picked up for 2 weeks by comp all the sudden i was denied had to get an attorny .my dock says its post concushion syndrom with neck paine was struck bye a 10 ft peice of 2'' steel pipe i have hard time speeling thinking sleeping and now im loosing everything i have 2 kids and wife and she cant do it all on her own my lawyer filled wen i was denied how long does this take man im going to be homeless soon

    thanks im so scared.is thare a time limit to this ?i just have a bad feeling like the workerskomp company is going to screw me and my family what if thease symptoms never go away havent worked since aug 2011.i havent made one penny and had to draine 401k now thats gone.i thought god evened out bad luck but im starting to doubt it now.ty for repliy it means the world i just want at least 1 person to help by listening im only 29.had sezures fainting headaches insomnia forget everything cant move the same hand eye cornation is just not the same.how long can they milk this ?ty my doctore is nice and got a letter from my att and is waiting to bill.i cant even get back and forth from doc appt or phis tharapy dont even have 20 bucks for gas and i have no family but my feioncay.sorry cant put words togather that well anymore

    What state are you in?

    Your attorney may be able to ask for an "expedited hearing" which may help you get a decision sooner. You can also apply for Social Security Disability.
    The North Carolina Court of Appeals has held that "In contested Workers' Compensation cases today, access to competent legal counsel is a virtual necessity." Church v. Baxter Travenol Labs, Inc., and American Motorists Insurance Company, 104 N.C. App. 411, 416 (1991).
