New Injury Due to Job-Related Injury - Post Settlement

If you experience arthritis and back issues (pinched nerves and misallignment) from multiple knee surgeries and it can be confirmed by a medical opinion; how does that affect the disability settlement and treatment, after the settlment has already been made? I had multiple knee surgeries over the course of a few years due to an accident on board and now I have back problems because I limped for 6 years straight due to all the surgeries happening in a short period of time. I am still being seen and treated with injections for the original injury but now have others due to it.

Depends on how you settled the claim...

Apparently you settled the PD indemnity, as you say you are still receiving treatment for the org injury... pesumable through your ER/IC (?)

If you settled out the claim entirely...you're on your own.
If you went back to work for the same ER, or even a different ER...you file a new claim.
