    Default Cleared for Light Duty but No Work is Available

    recently i was cleared for light duty and comp benifit was cut way down. employer has no work, nevermind light duty. can i collect unemplyment seems my boss is tech. laying me off?

    Depends if the light duty restriction is temporary or permanent.

    Did you notify the CA that no light duty is available? It makes a difference if the ER doesn't have any or terms you, you can go back on TTD. Do you have an atty?

    Doctor says I should look for a different line of work. We discussed that i would not be able to do my previous duties. My employer has no other position that is light duty.

    Yes, i told comp there was no light duty, he told me to look for a different job than. i am getting partial disability. he said i cant go back to total payments cause the doc said i could do light duty work

    But the ER has none, you need an atty.
