I work in a cabinet shop, about eight months ago I was carrying a sheet of plywood when I felt a small twinge in my forarm. At the time I did not think much about it, over the following month it got progressively worse. I was in the doctors office for a different problem, when I asked the doctor about my arm. He immediately said it's your neck. He scheduled me for an MRI and an appointment with a neurosurgeon, and sure enough I had a ruptured disc at c5 c6. So long story short I'm sitting here after 8 months of conservative treatment. And around 8 thousand dollars poorer, the injury crept up so slowly that there was no big event just a slow progression. And a lot of missed work. I don't know how workmens comp works. Do I have a leg to stand on, can I receive care for my injury from workers comp? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
