Default What Does It Mean when Worker Comp Removed You from the System

I had an issue 4 weeks ago when they wouldn't give me my TTD checks. I talk to my lawyer office but the office stated that they could not get a response from the Case Worker. I decided to call them about a check, and they told me that my ready to work status is ready but I had an excuse saying I can't go back to work till my next appointment. My lawyer's office told me that later, the case worker said that I fell out of the system and they need to put me back in. Have not heard from my employer nor can't reach them; goes straight to their voicemail.

Did any one have this experience before? Did my employer lay me off and this is what cause it? Or What?

Doesn't matter whether your ER terminated you or layoff...comp benefits are not contingent upon continued employment.
Who knows what causes a IW to "fall out of the system"...that doesn't happen with computers...someone had to delete the file.
Or, not continue to authorize the payments.
, and they told me that my ready to work status is ready but I had an excuse saying I can't go back to work till my next appointment.
Your excuse is likely the reason you "fell off" the system...if you are released to return to work, your TTD stops. Regardless of the next Dr appts.

    generally "system" means computer selection.
your case wasn't selected by their computer program for payment.
it's not a reason; it's an excuse for they don't know.
