My workers compensation claim was made in the State of:
Okay, I won't give a state due to keeping anonymity.
My last post was in regards to MMI and a rating of 26% which the insurance company balked at. So they decided to get another opinion.
Well after a bit of shopping around, they found a golden boy. The first doctor included cervical radiculopathy in his rating whereas this doctor chose to omit it in his rating
Which when all was said and done was decreased by 8 points. Much to the glee of the insurance company and the chagrin of my lawyer.
Wait for it....I have no recourse or so I am told except but to accept the measly 17 grand and some change, unless there is clear and concise evidence that this doctor made a mistake in his rating. Oh sure I can seek a second opinion but " what if they agree with this doctor?" "And we lose?" "Very costly!"
Anybody got a flashlight and knee boots?
