My wife was injured at work a few months ago. The insurance carrier has been requiring her to use their mail order pharmacy. Since she already takes medications from other doctors, she would prefer to use a normal pharmacy where there's a pharmacist available to discuss the prescriptions. After a lot of push back, the adjusted told us that we can use any network pharmacy that accepts of their card. Unfortunately the pharmacy we have been using for years that accepts our health insurance is not "in-network" with workers comp. She would really like to use one pharmacy and not have to switch everything over to a new place. Are there any rules that require her to use a carrier/employer network pharmacy? I searched around on the website for a while and saw that the employer can select the "health care provider." Does this include pharmacy? Or is she able to use any pharmacy she wants?

Thank you,

Concerned Husband...
