I had an i.m.e. a few days ago. I was called by a person in a business suit and escorted to the Dr.'s office and was told to sit in the chair with arms. The Dr. came in and the person followed and sat down. I stood and introduced myself and asked who the person was. I was immediately barraged by the Dr. with questions. He asked a question and while I tried to answer he asked two more. I never found out who the person was, nor could I answer his questions. Now my question is who is allowed to sit in on an I.M.E? And if it was someone on the Dr.'s staff why would he not identify them? I spoke with my attorney and was kind of let down with his response. Anyone else with a similar tale?
