In June of 2014 I fell at work, dislocated and shattered the radial head in my right (dominant) elbow. I have since had three surgeries (2 on elbow, one on wrist) and was recently told I would never have full use of my arm. I understand that I will receive compensation for the partial loss of use, but there are other things involved as well.
Do they take into consideration permanent nerve damage, loss of strength, and the fact that this has had an affect on many of my daily activities? I am still working and the only time off I took was when recovering from surgeries however, there are many things that cause pain during the work day as well as at home. I also have large scars on both the top part of my elbow and the underside of my elbow along with five small hole-type scars on my hand/wrist and was told they don't compensate for those scars.
How do I know if they offer a reasonable amount? Should I get a lawyer? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
