Hi I herniated a disk in my back late 2014 and I had surgery may 2015. In late August the wc insurance company sent me a letter showing the surgeon rated me at 10% disability and the said accordingly they would be sending me 354.49 a week until July which is 50 weeks. But they didn't factor in industrial disability. I should be entitled to those benefits correct? I'm 25 now and have nerve damage and pain everyday and I do miss work because of it. I don't necessarily want to hire a lawyer and give away 25% of the money I've already been given without a fight. At the same time I don't want my employer or the insurance company to think I'm just after money all I want is what's owed to me. How should I go about getting these benefits without involving a lawyer?
