Re: Running Out of Benefits
You may qualify for an extension of TTD if you're in a retraining program otherwise you may go on PPD. benefits.
I am almost out of temp partial and temp total. All Dr's n surgeons say I am too young to get 2 level fusion. I am not even close to mmi.
If you don't have a lawyer, now's the time to retain one.
One hundred and thirty weeks of TTD have been paid, except in the case of retraining.
Permanent partial disability (PPD) benefits
• PPD benefits compensate for permanent loss-of-use of a body part.
• These benefits are paid after temporary total disability ends, at approximately the same rate and intervals.
• You may request payment of PPD in a lump sum.
Permanent partial disability (PPD) benefits are payable for the permanent functional loss of use of the body based upon a disability schedule.
