    Default My Loud Vent

Well I got the answer of why my case for almost a year was going no where other than me taking trips to doc and therapy with no movement or answers as to why the request from the doc was not being followed on by IC.

Now I got an attorney in June because the doc requested two things but only one was approved. I called a few times on the matter to IC but after being told the same thing over and over, I hired an attorney. Attorney said they would get to work on it and even made contact with IC/ IC attorney and was sending in request to IC attorney for follow up and information.

Fast forward 3 1/2 months and I just was told that the reason their (my attorney) request and no movement on my case was happening was because the IC attorney was no longer working with the firm or where ever he was working. There was a new adjuster on my case as well and they are finding all of this out now. GUESS THEY WERE TELLING THE TRUTH WHEN THEY SAID" WE HAVE NO IDEA WHY THE ADJUSTER IS NOT RESPONDING".IDIOTS!!!!! OR F'ng IDIOTS!!!!!!!

They were just recently apprised of the change..LMAO..could it be after I sent in all my records and did the leg work for information they said they were requesting but not getting an answer on that it assisted them?????IDIOTS!!!!! OR F'ng IDIOTS!!!!!!!

I read a article and wonder if it applies as to IC not having a legit reason for approving/ not approving doctor requested treatment. Maybe they get fined or maybe they dont and I get my treatment.

I thought about switching but I think its unfair for another attorney to take me on (if they did) and have to split a cut with these guys..They will do as they said they would and I will go along for the ride knowing I may have to do leg work for them/me at times.

Guess my vent is over and just maybe I will get approval for next phase of this journey soon( quoted from attorney email to me)..Well let me say it again and I'm sure at some point I was one to.

    IDIOT...IDIOTS!!!!! OR F'ng IDIOTS!!!!!!!

How do you expect your lawyer to know that the adjuster has been changed? Your lawyer is prohibited from having any direct contact with the insurance company or the employer if they are represented by legal counsel. He has to work through his counterpart, the lawyer who represents the other side. You said yourself that the carrier/employer's lawyer left the firm and apparently neither his firm nor the insurance company replaced him on your case, unbeknownst to your lawyer.

Before you vent your rage against your lawyer again, perhaps you should educate yourself as to how things actually work in the real world. I am so sick of the unjustified lawyer bashing that goes on here!!!

Not good with the quotes but here I go.

How do you expect your lawyer to know that the adjuster has been changed? Your lawyer is prohibited from having any direct contact with the insurance company or the employer if they are represented by legal counsel.

The attorney said they were calling them. after a few months I called and got the correct information on adjuster and gave it to attorney.

He has to work through his counterpart, the lawyer who represents the other side. You said yourself that the carrier/employer's lawyer left the firm and apparently neither his firm nor the insurance company replaced him on your case, unbeknownst to your lawyer.

I'm not the attorney but if they would give me an answer on why they did not know..I'll let you know. I prefer they just move along and deal with the people they now know are working my claim.

Before you vent your rage against your lawyer again, perhaps you should educate yourself as to how things actually work in the real world. I am so sick of the unjustified lawyer bashing that goes on here!!!

Well, I'm a little wiser now and I'm sure the attorney is as well. But this just a vent and nothing more. Not sure why you attacking but it is America Sir...yea, I took it as a attack..lol

No personal attack intended. Sorry if I offended you.

It's cool and thank you for comment. To be honest, I was helped and given good advice on everything from a MARYLAND ATTORNEY. Just in a complicated spot but this will be my last post in regards to Maryland forum because my case is in another state (I prefer to let it go as it goes and just read others comments). Just too much to list but thank you.
