A PPD rating of 10% to the shoulder in NC is worth 24 weeks of your compensation rate. (The "arm" is a 240 week limb under GS 97-31.) You can get a second opinion on that rating from a doctor of your choice. It seems a bit low for two surgeries. But, maybe you had a very good outcome. If you want to get a second opinion, consult a workers' comp specialist lawyer in your community before you set any wheels in motion. Done wrong, it will backfire on you and cost you money.
