Advice Against Going to Doctor Appointment Advice

I have retained a Lawyer in my workmans comp claim, I have been told I need a 3 level lumbar fusion by nuero surgeon, The IME said no I dont and wants me to repeat the same tests I have already had preformed, to include a RFA to 3 nerves, my treating doc said he didnt really agree with the IME and my lawyer said I should not go to have the same tests repeated that have already been done, why put myself through that again, and the results be the same as before.

So should I listen to my Lawyer and not go to the appointment? can workmans comp adjuster stop paying my time loss if i fail to go to the appointment????

Do exactly what your lawyer advises.
That adjuster will probably stop paying whether you go to the appointment or not - they're not picky about reasons to deny.
