Re: Incorrect Diagnosis - Left Knee Cap
What that " therapist" believes means nothing, he's not a doctor.
my regular therapist was out for the day, new therapist read my chart and did a meniscal grind examination, it was positive. I thought I would die from the pain. He believes I have a tear in the menicus despite the negative MRI
MRI's don't lie, that's objective medical evidence and will hold up in court.
What counts is the treating physician or specialists reports only, anything else is a worthless opinion.
That's a tad backwards, ya think?
The physician's assistant consulted with the doctor after I called and told them about the therapist physical exam
That therapist is to follow the instructions of the doctor, he isn't qualified to give a diagnosis.
You're not going to find many Specialists or Primary Treating physicians taking the opinion of a therapist seriously - the idea is ridiculous.
