    Default Works Comp Benefits

I received an overpayment from workers comp and now I'm back out. My job will not accept my limitations. I have been out since the 21st of may and it is now the 31st I will likely be out for 5 to 6 months or longer if my job takes me back. I was originally hurt back in October 2017 and was out till April 23 2018. Now I'm out again because my surgery was not successful and I need to have it done again. my adjuster has not reissued nor has she contacted me and informed me of how and when my checks will restart. No one will assist me because my WC claim is through the state of GA. I'm hoping someone can at least point me in the right direction so they can stop treating me like it's my fault I'm hurt . No answers given from my case worker and she never gives a straight answer it's like my life is a joke. I have injured both knees and left hand I will need a rolling walker according to WC claims Doctor as well as second opinion from WC rep. And this is my second surgery on my hand

Well, if you were overpaid TTD earlier, that would explain the delay in your TTD getting restarted for your new period of disability. In effect, they have already paid you for some of your current time out. Talk to a local work comp lawyer. This case will not get any easier or simpler.
