Default Living Out of State While Collecting Benefits

If I live and work in Illinois and I'm injured, can I live at my other home out of state for my recovery and still receive all workers comp benefits? If I can, can I also choose a doctor out of state and or therapist from that state?

I will assume its fine, dont miss therapy or Dr.s appointment!......I was in Illinois when I got hurt....Long story short was winters were messing me up do to lack of sun, and bad depression.....I had to have my professional psychiatric team lobby for me to get away and pay for support out here....It was a pain and they were not happy and fought me non stop....

Be careful they will also probably follow, and video you!............They harassed me big time here in AZ.

Jllrue, trying to get medical care in another state from the one where your claim is being administered, is always going to be a hassle. Medical professionals have no obligation to see or treat you for non-life threatening conditions, so doctors and therapists in the new state may all refuse to see you as a workers' comp patient.
