    Question Award of Compensation

I need some clarification regarding my Award of Compensation. (Resulting in 20% loss of use of the left leg (knee) due exclusively to the December 1, 2017 accident, at the rate of $176.00, payable weekly, beginning June 7, 2018, for a period of 60 weeks. ) Does that mean I get a check weekly or a lump-sum payment? Please help.

It should be stated in the award, they can do either.
From what you're posting "at the rate of $176.00, payable weekly, beginning June 7, 2018, for a period of 60 weeks." I would say it's payable weekly if that's the language in the award.

    Then that's what you'll get.

Your attorney should be explaining all of this to you, you shouldn't be in the dark over anything.
Usually 30 days after the award is approved.
