Re: No Toes
=Vico;210405 I'm a welder and I had an accident at work, I was spotting an co-worker he tripped running a walking forklift causing the load to teeter. The an 800lb angle landed on my foot. Broke all 5 toes, and pins put in 2months later I had an onset of dry gangrene which led to the amputation of all 5 toes.... What could I be looking at compensation wise.
I am at no fault
Worker Comp is no fault so the issue of fault is irrelevant.
You won't find the answer to your question in an internet forum, there are too many factors to consider.
You are entitled to a scheduled loss for the amputations in addition to any Permanent Impairment Rating.
You need to consult a lawyer who specializes in Comp and have him evaluate your claim based on specific facts like your Average Weekly Wage and loss of earning capacity.
Consult a lawyer before proceeding further.
