Default Does W/C Approve Medical Marijuana

In Louisiana there's 14 qualifiers for enrollment for medicinal marijuana, I have at least 4. I'm hoping someone on this site may Know if workers comp approves this
Type of medicine and clinic. I have to take so many meds and with one part of my
Injury I forget to take them or I forget I take it and take another. I can't talk to my adjuster because I lawyered up. Any insight would be beneficial. Just want to eliminate some Of this medicine.

But, I've looked up how marijuana can help phantom limb pain especially @ night. I wonder if they @ least cover the Dr. For licensed for that. Thanks airdale

The carrier will not cover it, it's still illegal under federal law and it's not approved by the FDA.
If they find that stuff in a blood test, they will cut your wage loss benefits and your doctor may dismiss you from his care.
Because there are no job protections for Medical Marijuana, you could also lose your job.

There is no objective evidence to support the claim Medical Marijuana relieves pain - it's a con job sold by pot heads to get their dope legally.
The side affects and other risks aren't worth it in my book - People using pot eventually become zombies, they think about doing everything but never do nothing.
That's on top of the personality changes that cause loss of relationships, delusional thinking, memory loss and damage to their lungs.

It's a dangerous drug, don't let anyone tell you different - I've personally seen too many people destroy their lives using it because they bought the notion it was "safe"
There is evidence that cannabis-based medications can treat two types of epileptic syndromes, there is yet to be any objective evidence to support the notion it relieves pain.
"Marijuana is a Schedule I drug, meaning that it is considered to have no medicinal purpose."

What is the FDA Doing About Medical Marijuana?
the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved for the first time a drug called Epidiolex which contains a purified drug substance cannabidiol. It was approved for the treatment of seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome or Dravet syndrome in patients 2 years of age and older. That means the FDA has concluded that this particular drug product is safe and effective for its intended indication.
Marijuana is a Schedule I drug, meaning that it is considered to have no medicinal purpose. Heroin and LSD are also Schedule I (interesting tidbit, cocaine is Schedule II drug because it has numbing properties and
can be used as a local anesthetic).

FDA’s Role in the Drug Approval Process
The FDA has not approved marijuana as a safe and effective drug for any indication. The agency has, however, approved one specific drug product that contains the purified substance cannabidiol, one of more than 80 active chemicals in marijuana, for the treatment of seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome or Dravet syndrome in patients 2 years of age and older. The FDA has also approved two drugs containing a synthetic version of a substance that is present in the marijuana plant and one other drug containing a synthetic substance that acts similarly to compounds from marijuana but is not present in marijuana.

Warning Letters and Test Results for Cannabidiol-Related Products
Over the past several years, FDA has issued several warning letters to firms that market unapproved new drugs that allegedly contain cannabidiol (CBD). As part of these actions, FDA has tested the chemical content of cannabinoid compounds in some of the products, and many were found to not contain the levels of CBD they claimed to contain. It is important to note that these products are not approved by FDA for the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of any disease.Consumers should beware purchasing and using any such products.

Pain is a fact of life, there is no quick fix.
We have to learn to live with it and focus on what we can control.
Simple things like a hot bath or a long walk can do more than any medicine - it comes down to mind over matter.

Pain won't kill ya, some of these so called fixes will.
