    Default Carpel Tunnel Award

I was hoping someone with some knowledge of workers comp claims in NYS could help me. I live in downstate NY. Had bilateral Carpel tunnel in both wrists and trigger finger. Both IME and my doctor came to a conclusion after 1 year that I have 15% loss in both hands and 33-1/2% in my right middle finger from the trigger. I had not lost work due to the surgery. Based on these numbers does anyone know what I could expect in final payout award? Just a guesstimate.

Workers' comp lawyers all give free consultations. Go get a free consultation. Quite a bit more info would be needed to answer your question, and even then, someone conversant in NY state work comp law would have to provide the answer.
The North Carolina Court of Appeals has held that "In contested Workers' Compensation cases today, access to competent legal counsel is a virtual necessity." Church v. Baxter Travenol Labs, Inc., and American Motorists Insurance Company, 104 N.C. App. 411, 416 (1991).
