    Default I Lost My Testicle in an Accident. How Much Does It Pay

    I fell an hurt my groin area and had to have my testicle removed. Just wondering how much does it pay for losing one.

    It depends in part on what permanent symptoms you may have and whether or not you need continuing treatment. Page 258 of the AMA Guides To The Evaluation Of Permanent Impairment (4th Edition) addresses testicular impairment. If it is just the loss of a testicle, the impairment rating can be between 0% and 10%. If other symptoms and treatment are necessary, it can go as high as 20%. Benefits pay out at 3 weeks of benefits for every percentage of impairment.
