    Wait, I won't get a check at all for three weeks? I thought I'd start getting checks sooner,m but the first three days wouldn't be added back until three weeks had passed.

    Correct, it says "first installment due the employee after the expiration of the 21 days."
    After that payments are due on your regular payment schedule as when you where working.

    Alabama Code Title 25. Industrial Relations and Labor 25-5-57
    (2) TEMPORARY PARTIAL DISABILITY.
    a. Amount and Duration of Compensation.
    Payments shall be made at the intervals when the earnings were payable, as nearly as may be, unless the parties otherwise agree, and shall be subject to the same maximum weekly compensation as stated in Section 25-5-68 .
